Sara Moscardini has joined Altamira Studio Teater since its foundation in Danmark, in 2014, after taking part in several workshops and projects led by Pierangelo Pompa, among which The Staggering Circus. Previously, she had studied anthropology at Siena University and got a master in Gender Studies at the Ecole des Hautes etudes in Paris. She started to do theatre when she was 14 years old in the frame of a theatre laboratory in her high school. She continued her artistic education, collaborating with several directors, actors, theatre groups and dancers, as Cesare Ronconi, Mariangela Gualtieri, Armando Punzo, Dewey Dell, Teatro Sotterraneo, Frank Totino, Will Bond, Ilse Peralta Lopez. She took part of an independent theatre company, Essacosa, with which she presented several original plays in Italy. She is interested in queer studies, cultural and urban anthropological studies, in their relationship to theatre and art in general.
